The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing validation activities, including DFMEA, Design Validation Plan (DVP), testing, and validation execution.
The role involves working closely with design, engineering, testing, and project teams to ensure that product validation activities are completed as per project requirements, quality standards, and prototype build timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and maintain DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) documentation in coordination with design and engineering teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and track the DVP (Design Validation Plan) based on project requirements and design specifications.
  • Plan and coordinate testing and validation activities for 2-wheeler components, systems, and assemblies.
  • Define validation requirements, test objectives, acceptance criteria, and test schedules.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering teams, test laboratories, and external vendors to execute validation activities.
  • Monitor testing progress, document test results, and prepare validation reports.
  • Analyse test failures, identify potential root causes, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with relevant teams.
  • Track validation status, open issues, risks, and pending actions to ensure timely closure.
  • Support prototype build activities by ensuring that required validation plans, test preparations, and documentation are completed on schedule.
  • Ensure traceability between design requirements, DFMEA, DVP, test results, and validation sign-off.
  • Participate in design reviews, project review meetings, and technical discussions to address validation-related concerns.
  • Prepare regular updates on validation progress, risks, and dependencies for project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable automotive quality processes, testing standards, and project-specific requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in automotive product validation, preferably in the 2-wheeler domain.
  • Working knowledge of DFMEA preparation and review.
  • Experience in preparing and managing DVPs and validation schedules.
  • Understanding of product testing, validation planning, test execution, and reporting.
  • Ability to analyse test results, identify failures, and coordinate issue resolution.
  • Good documentation, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple validation activities and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting 2-wheeler product development and prototype builds.
  • Exposure to vehicle-level, system-level, or component-level testing and validation.
  • Knowledge of automotive product development processes and design change management.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional engineering, design, and testing teams.
  • Familiarity with validation tracking, test reports, and issue-closure processes.

Key Deliverables

  • DFMEA documentation prepared and updated.
  • DVP developed, maintained, and tracked.
  • Validation and testing activities planned and executed as per project schedules.
  • Test reports and validation evidence documented and maintained.
  • Validation issues, risks, and corrective actions tracked to closure.
  • Timely validation readiness and support for Angsa and Silverback prototype builds.
  • Regular validation status reports and project updates.
