Key Responsibilities
• Supervise day-to-day logistics operations supporting programme activities, including material movement, inbound and outbound consignments, and site coordination.
• Coordinate with shipyards, vendors, transporters, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time delivery against programme schedules.
• Track shipments, maintain logistics records and dashboards, and escalate delays or exceptions with corrective action plans.
• Support documentation for procurement, dispatch, receipts, and inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate warehousing, material handling, and storage arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety and procurement protocols.
• Liaise with customs, transport authorities, and allied agencies where required for movement of goods.
• Prepare periodic logistics status reports and cost summaries for the programme team.
• Supervise on-ground logistics staff and vendor personnel to maintain delivery standards.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree; a qualification in logistics, supply chain, or operations management is an advantage.
• 4–7 years of experience in logistics or supply-chain operations, ideally in heavy engineering, shipbuilding, ports, manufacturing, or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, inventory, and material-handling operations.
• Working knowledge of logistics documentation, procurement processes, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in logistics tracking tools and standard office software.
