Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day logistics operations supporting programme activities, including material movement, inbound and outbound consignments, and site coordination.
Coordinate with shipyards, vendors, transporters, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time delivery against programme schedules.
Track shipments, maintain logistics records and dashboards, and escalate delays or exceptions with corrective action plans.
Support documentation for procurement, dispatch, receipts, and inventory.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate warehousing, material handling, and storage arrangements.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety and procurement protocols.
Liaise with customs, transport authorities, and allied agencies where required for movement of goods.
Prepare periodic logistics status reports and cost summaries for the programme team.
Supervise on-ground logistics staff and vendor personnel to maintain delivery standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; a qualification in logistics, supply chain, or operations management is an advantage.
4–7 years of experience in logistics or supply-chain operations, ideally in heavy engineering, shipbuilding, ports, manufacturing, or infrastructure sectors.
Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, inventory, and material-handling operations.
Working knowledge of logistics documentation, procurement processes, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in logistics tracking tools and standard office software.
