Role:
Create mechanical designs for automotive components and systems, from concept to production.
Responsibilities:
1. Working experience on mechanical design aspects of automotive components and high level of drafting & 3D CAD modelling skills using Unigraphics-NX CAD software
2. Experience in designing plastic, sheet metal, casting & machined parts
3.Strong understanding of Geometric Dimension and Tolerance (GD&T)
4.Sound understanding on mechanical design, manufacturing process of various components and engineering materials.
5.Responsible for preparing and presenting mechanical designs at design reviews along with support design teams.
6.Prototyping - Support the creation and testing of prototypes for design validation
7.Responsible for reporting progress of all assigned tasks to the Reporting Manager
8.BOM creation in SAP & windchill
Education Qualification:
BE/BTech ME/MTech in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Machine Design
Experience:
Around 2-5 Years of working experience in Automotive Product design
Desired Functional / Technical Competencies:
1.Must be Good at the 2D/3D making (modelling, assembly & drafting) in Unigraphics CAD software & windchill system for BOM creation.
2.Knowledge on GD&T & manufacturing process
3.Proactive approach & good communication skills.
