About the Role
We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with strong experience in building electrical infrastructure
and electrical distribution systems to support large-scale infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical design for residential communities,
commercial buildings, townships, large facilities, or similar construction projects. Experience working with
developers, EPC companies, MEP consultants, or organizations involved in large building projects will be
preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop electrical infrastructure designs for large residential and commercial projects.
• Perform electrical load calculations and distribution planning.
• Design and review power distribution systems, including panels, switchgear and distribution boards.
• Carry out cable sizing, cable routing and cable-tray sizing based on project requirements.
• Plan electrical infrastructure locations and routing across building/site layouts.
• Develop and review single-line diagrams (SLDs) and electrical layouts.
• Design and review earthing and electrical protection systems.
• Evaluate existing electrical designs and recommend modifications or improvements.
• Coordinate electrical requirements with architectural, civil, MEP and other project teams.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, BOQs and technical documentation as required.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes, standards and safety requirements.
• Support site-level technical discussions and resolve design-related issues.
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution and building electrical systems.
• Good understanding of load calculation, cable sizing, voltage drop and power distribution.
• Experience with switchgear, distribution boards, protection and earthing systems.
• Ability to interpret and develop electrical layouts and single-line diagrams.
• Experience working with large and complex building/site layouts.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or relevant electrical design software.
• Good understanding of electrical safety standards and design practices.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates who have worked on large-scale community or building development projects, where they were
responsible for planning and designing electrical infrastructure from the incoming power supply through distribution
to individual loads.
Experience with EV charging infrastructure is an advantage but not mandatory, provided the candidate has
strong electrical infrastructure and building-design experience.
