Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Buyer to support procurement and commercial activities under the guidance of the Procurement Manager and/or Senior Buyer. The role will be responsible for supporting procurement processes, supplier coordination, tender documentation, purchase-related activities, and maintaining accurate procurement records.
The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of procurement processes, good coordination skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day procurement activities under the guidance of the Procurement Manager and/or Senior Buyer.
- Assist in procurement processes including RFI, EOI, PQQ, RFQ, and RFP activities.
- Assist in preparing RFQs, tender documents, bidder correspondence, clarification logs, comparison sheets, and procurement trackers.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to collect required quotations, technical details, and commercial information.
- Support supplier identification, market research, vendor onboarding, and prequalification activities.
- Assist in evaluating supplier quotations and preparing commercial comparison statements.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier documentation, approvals, purchase-related documents, and correspondence.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding quotations, delivery schedules, documentation, and pending requirements.
- Support purchase requisition and purchase order follow-up activities.
- Assist in preparing meeting minutes, procurement status reports, and management updates.
- Monitor pending procurement activities and highlight delays, risks, or missing information to the Senior Buyer or Procurement Manager.
- Support supplier performance tracking and maintain relevant records.
- Ensure procurement activities are carried out in line with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Professional procurement certification such as CIPS or equivalent is desirable.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, commercial operations, or contract administration.
- Experience in RFQ/RFP/tendering, supplier coordination, quotation comparison, and procurement documentation.
- Exposure to vendor management and purchase order processes will be an advantage.
