Role: CAE Analyst – FEA Simulation Design Engineer
Experience: 5 Years

Tools: ANSYS Workbench (Design Modeler/Space Claim, Static Structural, Transient Structural, Steady State Thermal, Transient Thermal, Modal, Harmonic Response, Random Vibration)

Essential Competencies:

  1. Experienced in structural, modal, harmonic, and random vibration analysis of rotating electric machines (EV motors, generators, starter motors, hub motors).
  2. Competent in FE modelling of shafts, rotors, stators, housings, brackets, press-fits, and interference fits.
  3. Ability to evaluate resonance, dynamic stiffness, order-based excitations, and NVH-related behaviour.
  4. Good understanding of thermal–structural coupling and deformation due to motor heating.
  5. Skilled in fatigue and durability assessments for rotating components.
  6. Capable of correlating simulation results with motor test data and providing design recommendations
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / automotive / aerospace engineering
· 5+ years of proven experience in FEA using ANSYS Workbench.
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
· Ability to interpret vibration results (modes, resonance, response curves) and recommend design actions
· Capable of handling multiple simulation tasks and meeting deadlines
· Good communication and reporting skills
· Good team player with a mindset for continuous learning and improvement
· Basic understanding of CAD tools (NX, CATIA, Creo)
· Self-driven with a mindset for continuous improvement
